Tuya zigbee hub

Hi, I’m at the edge of my Sonoff zigbee hub ( I have 30 device ) so I was looking to buy something else and migrate to zigbee to mqtt at the same time.

BUT I was wondering if it could be I good idea to buy a zigbee Tuya hub and pair it with localtuya. I have some devices that I never used because they didn’t work with zha ( and even possibly zigbee to mqtt ) and I know those device are compatible with Tuya zigbee hub

Can it be a good idea ?

Thanks

Hi Thib5,

I cannot recommend Tuya anything unless it is the only way to get something, like a water hose valve or other odd thing that only comes Tuya. All versions of Tuya integrations (I know of 4) all have some need to do stuff with the cloud.
I recommend ZHA or Zigbee2Mqtt to integrate your zigbee stuff.

Here is some more info on Zigbee to read on.
