Its fine by me. I’m a linux user since debian 2.1. I dont work as admin nor as developer and I doesn’t have any formal it education. My work doesn’t hardly have anything to do with it.
I only just stumbled on your post but wanted to say thanks. I constantly evangelize Home Assistant to friends and family but have been using it for so long that I’ve forgotten what it’s like to come into the project fresh (not to mention it was a very different Home Assistant when I first dove in). It’s great to hear a new user’s perspective and I think this kind of feedback is incredibly valuable. I plan to use it to help better understand what my newbie friends are going through and how best to help.
The part about feeling intimidated in community posts and “experts only wanting to help experts” is feedback that I think all of us need to humbly accept and evaluate. I hope that as your expertise grows you’re able to help the community make positive changes in the way new users’ questions are welcomed.
What about the Yellow Box with integrated Zigbee ? Does a backup include Zigbee ?
