Since a couple releases back I´m having issues with my Ubiquiti AP.
They are always shown as “away”
Anyone else having this?
The AP:s are connected Router - switch (POE) - AP and I don´t know if the problem is with the device tracker ASUS WRT or the Ubiquiti tracker.
If I remove them from know_devices they are picked up again by HASS but never as “home”
I had a device that did this no matter what I did. I ended up using the Ping device tracker; may work for you.

What version controller are you using?
Ubuiquiti component hasnt worked since 0.36.
Starts OK but stops reporting after 15minutes and shows error.
I looked into this and I see it logging into the controller but it seems that something is not working with that
Ping is helpful, but not really a solution as the problem is not because devices stop reporting (like IOS disconnect from wifi).

Yes I know the Ping will probably only solve the away/home mode for the device and not the real Unifi component functionality.
I´m running 5.4.11 as controller.
