Understanding the energy dashboard

Hi,

I’m getting started setting up my home electrical system for proper monitoring. I have a fairly complex electrical system for a residential setup. Here is a diagram of my house connection to the grid.

As you can see in the diagram I have a 400Amp connection to the grid. From there I have a junction box where four panels and one solar system are connected. I put SCT sensors on the House panel, Addition panel as well as the House solar. I also have an SCT on the Garage Solar but not yet on the Garage Panel or Shop Panel.

In HA I have added the House panel and Addition panel as Grid Consumption and I added the House Solar to Solar Panels. Below is what I get on the Energy Distribution graphic.

Because my Solar is connected to the junction box after the main meter panel, it doesn’t go through any of my main/sub panels. This causes the graphic to show both consumption and solar as entering the Home when the Solar should be subtracted from the consumption. Any idea how this should be configured?

I’m going to add sensors to my Shop panel and Garage Panel in the next week or so and am looking for advice on how I should set this up. It would be great if I could get the graphic to depict the true flow of the current.

Hopefully my images are going to show up.

Thanks for any advice or links to advice you may be able to offer.

Jon

Just to add more info, here is a capture showing my energy screen as it is currently. The values all seem to be correct.
