Check again after 15-30 minutes. Mine seemed to work at first then every device_tracker would change to not_home simultaneously. Restarted a number of times and its repeatable every time.
If it doesn’t work for you the signaling of the websocket isn’t working properly. A few people still have these issues. Are you running the latest unifi controller?
Yes, 5.12.35.
Since you got those signals web socket definitely worked so I wonder why it didn’t
Last night I updated my Unifi controller to the latest release candidate. It performed the same way after a restart…devices showed as home initially, then after 10 or so minutes, everything went not_home simultaneously. Log entries were the same.
I also played around with completely opening up firewall rules, trying a privileged Proxmox container for the Unifi controller, and things like that. Things that were not long term solutions, but just to test. Nothing worked.
Rolled Unifi back to the stable version and then rolled Home Assistant back to 0.105 and everything works great.
If you try again please grab some debug logs
Hello,
I’m experiencing the same problem in the latest release.
I’m running the latest release available and today again my phone resulted at home even I was 20 km away from home.
What info do you need to give me some help.
So far I discovered that I need to reload the integration in order to update the devices state.
I have Home Assistant installed in the Official VM inside Proxmox whereas the Unifi controller is inside one of LXC container.
The integration always worked and I don’t have any strange log to provide you.
I did some tests and I noticed that if I reduce the update interval to 3 minutes the integration works well. Higher values don’t work at all. The device tracker are always listed at home.
Any suggestion are welcome.
Thank you in advance.
