Hey there, @CentralCommand! I had used your automation for so long, and after a while I noticed some things that I wanted to be different about your blueprint. So, instead of bugging you with my preferences, I decided to take it upon myself to “Take Control” of the blueprint, and see what was going on behind the scenes. One thing I must say it that your automation behind the scenes it definately incredibly creative and super detailed! I’m glad to see the use of the ‘Choose’ block for the main workflow!
So, fast forward to today, I wanted to share my preferences about the way the automation is set up. Ik I used a version from a while back. It was like 6 months ago if I’m remembering correctly. Anyways, here’s the automation code. I have kept most of your original automation code in fact, while also changing a lot of things about it! If you have any questions about why I changed something, just ask. There’s always a reason for everything, whether that be to not have to open Home Assistant as much to double check that everything went well, to improve the visual appeal of the notification, to fix some bugs that occurred, or even just preference.
