Updater - Got unexpected response: None

I’m running V0.80.0 and have seen (and ignored) the following log entry:

... ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.updater] Got unexpected response: None

My configuration.yaml contains the default:

updater:

Once in a awhile I’ll see a log entry that updater has sent some telemetry back to the developers. It gives me the impression that updater is successfully doing its job. Nevertheless, there’s the matter of that error message!

Is anyone else seeing it in their log? Is it a bug or is there something I’ve misconfigured?

It appears others have seen the same error message and it has been posted as an Issue: Updater Don’t Work
