Using a Generic Thermostat with Devolo TRVs

Hi,

I have in the house a setup with several Devolo TRVs (1 for each bedroom and a Devolo thermostat with 2 TRVs for the living room).

The problem I am trying to solve is that I never get to have the target temperature reached maybe due to the fact that the TRVs take the temperature too close to the radiators.

To fix this I want to use a generic thermostat that uses as sensor a temperature sensor from the room and I would like to set the Devolo TRVs to 28 degrees (maximum temperature to be sure the valve opens fully) until the temperature measured in the room reaches the desired one.

How can I do that considering that the generic thermostat expects a switch and not a script. Can I create a virtual switch that runs a script to set the temperature to 28 degrees?

Thanks,
John

Ended up using a similar approach as here: Multiple sensors with generic (virtual) thermostat to control Nest
