Hello, I’m quite new to HA and have purchased a Home Assistant Yellow.
Now I’d like to control my TRVs using an external temperature sensor:
TRV: Siterwell GS361A-H04
Temp sensor: Xiaomi WSDCGQ11LM
Those are connected via Z2M. Is there a straight forward way to use the external temp sensor instead of the external one? The external is preferred because of accuracy. I have tried “better thermostat” for a while, but it wasn’t reliably working with my hardware.
Any help would be much appreciated.

In ZigBee it is called a binding.
See if this can be used.
Hi @falcke
Here is a sample of one of my TRV’s:
I defined my own
mqtt thermostat
temp sensor: external xiaomi temp sensor ( zigbee2mqtt/0x00158d0002d7f2df )
placing following config file in your “packages” folder & rebooting works for me
