I’m wondering how the group approach compares to using a bayesian sensor approach. Certainly easier to do this way, no need to figure out percentages, but do you get “better” results by using a bayesian approach, which, if I understand correctly, can still get a good result even if one of the trackers is misreading?
Biggest “issue” with groups is that sometimes a tracker get’s stuck on/off, and can cause the group to stay present/away. The Bayesian sensor can account for that

Right, that’s exactly what I’m thinking. I have OwnTracks on my and my wife’s iPhones, and hers always gets stuck, as she will often close all apps and forget to reopen it…
