Using Tuya Devices locally - inner workings

Hello. I am busy with an energy optimization project getting max from my geyser while the sun is shining.I have seen multiple videos on integrating a Tuya device locally (not from the cloud). I am a rookie on home automation, using what I have and programmed in Microsoft powerapps a Tuya connection working through the cloud. Are there any references on how to directly communicate to my Tuya device? Not using HA?.

If not using HA, what do you want to use to communicate to your Tuya Device ?
I.e If it’s a Switch, there most of the times are a Button, on the Device ( That’s direct communication )
Now i get You are new, but You have to somehow try to explain your self in a way, so People understand what you are talking about, what you have and what you want to achieve.

Here are some tips, which might help you.
How to help us help you - or How to ask a good question.

youre prob best off to go to a tuya repository… here’s the github for localtuya which communicates locally w the devices.

this is the home assistant forum, so this is prob not the best place for getting deep info about how to not use home assistant…
