Is there a way to show a summary of weather information visually rather than all the little buttons? I’d rather be able to see pertinent information like the chance of rain quickly without needing to click on the button.
I know some work is being done on this but in the meantime I think you could do this yourself with templates. You’d need to consult the weather provider of your choice to determine the possible states, and then tie an image to each one via templates.
All right I just wanted to make sure before something wasn’t already out there before I made my own. Thanks for the help!
I’m a bit of a weather nut and have my own weather station so if you do develop something, please let me know. Always available as a beta tester!
@jpenyc Never thought of using the camera in this way! I’m definitely going to set this up and I can think of a few other uses for this. Thanks for sharing this!
I bet you could use it to get traffic conditions using bing maps

I suggested it to another user that was trying to find a way to display the QT code for his WAP to guests by pointing it to an online image or one that was local. I think there will be a lot of creative uses for this! I have the radar and precip maps on the same page as my personal weather station now and it looks awesome!
It is a pitty that we don’t have the Wunderground Radar Map in Europe…
Does anybody knows if there is an equivalent version in Europe?
Thanks,
Alfredo.
Try Sat24. I think their forecast maps may work; definetly not the one on the front page, but if you click on the maps on the top row, they may work. That was the first one I found for Europe. You may also want to look in your government’s weather service bureau.
more maps that should work for your interest

Unfortunately neither of them seemed to work. But I used your technique to add traffic cameras… So neat!
Awesome; these definitely work and some of them are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Just a curiosity what maps are you finding “gorgeous”? i would love to get a map that looks like
