nice integration. just installed for my Volvo EX40.
This is really good. Looks very similar to the Polestar integration.
On our Diesel Hybrid, the Avg Fuel Consumption level is coming up as l/100KM and cannot be changed via the usual HA unit adjustment. Can you change it so MPG can be set?
Yeah, unfortunately HA does not convert L/100km to mpg and I also don’t have access to the system settings to see what the user has configured.
I’ll add an option in the integration where you can choose the value for this specific sensor: L/100km, mpg US and mpg UK.
Ah, I am sad this is not supported in the US yet…
I just released v0.3.0 which contains the option to choose the unit! I’ve also added more exterior images.
Are you sure? Because there is a user confirming it works in the US.
Can confirm. I’m in the US and all the sensors seem to be working for me. Nice work!
The GitHub docs mention location tracking. I’m not seeing device_tracker entity. How does that work?
Hi @thomas_be,
Thanks for the quick fix.
I have not had a chance to test, but as soon as I do, I’ll update you here.
again Thank you.
According to the API documentation, location is officially only supported for:
- XC40 fully electric, model years between 2015 and 2021.
- C40 fully electric, model year 2022.
- XC60, S90, V90, V90CC and XC40, model year 2022.
And if you are located in one of these countries.
However, the VOC API does offer location tracking. Since there already a few users asking for the location, I’ll try to add it.
My car is not listed when I use the VOC API and I did not find any documentation for it, so I’ll have to develop it blindly. Would be great if you can test it then! I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks for the clarification. I don’t have one of the listed cars and since I’m in what is listed as an unsupported country (US) I’m just happy the API is returning as much as it does.
Hi! Could someone with an EX30 confirm that the Stop climatization
command is working or not? Start climatization
should work all the time.
If Stop climatization
is not working specifically for the EX30, then it’s probably a Volvo API issue, but I need it confirmed. It does work for my XC40 BEV 2024 model.
