Hi all
I am new and plan to start with the Home Assistant green, but I need a Walldisplay to get easy access to lights etc. for my wife.
Is there a good and easy solution to to create some easy to use device as wall display?

If you have an old/cheap Android tablet (not Amazon Fire - they’re a lot of trouble) many people use the Fully Kiosk app to display HA dashboards.
There’s a HA integration, but you don’t need that unless you want to control the tablet remotely - I don’t think most people use it. Fully Kiosk is highly configurable on its own.
A fire tablet will work fine if you remove all the stuff amazon put on it, I have been using one for a couple of years now. But that being said it will be easier to use a different brand that is not locked down. Lenovo m10 would be my choice if I had to buy a tablet.

Biggest issue with the tablet approach is spicy pillows, really.
Hi, a wall mount is not necessary (could be 3d printed). Maybe it’s not bad to usw the tablet in the living room as some kind of remote control like the old Logitech harmony’s. Should be easy to setup and the tabled should be cheap. I don’t have other android devices.
You don’t need an android device anything that can display a web page will do.
I made one of these to live on the coffee table, works well. And far cheaper than a tablet
Let’s be real, Android devices ARE the cheapest devices that can do that. I can get Tab A9 for just slightly over 100€, and, as bad as they are, Fire for even less.
You could possibly mess around with ESP32 displays for a lower price but it will be far more work and less flexible.
Yeah, it should be less work as possible.
And the most important it should be easy to use for the family.
Tablet it is then.
