What energy monitor hardware to use?

Hi i’m looking for a good and affordable solution to monitor my energy use and maybe remove some devices which use to many energy. I saw in another threat https://iotawatt.com/ but that’s all. Any other sugestions?

And you have some python knowledge. I recommend this :

All it requires is a supported elec.meter and a $25-$50 usb dongle.

I recall smappee or sense have been around for a couple of years, but/and they are priced in the couple hundred dollars range.

Thanks, i will have a look. The thing is, i think you will only use it once. Because i get pretty decent energy overviews from my energy supplier. So the main reason i want it, is to indentify devices that use to many energy.
