I have rebuilt my system several times for a number of reasons. In each case I have a basic hassbian install and then add openzwave, open-zwave-control-panel, and python-openzwave. This has led to problems in my previous install attempts because it seems that unless you install everything into the proper locations on the directory tree you get problems.
Where is the “proper” place to put the openzwave clone? Should it be installed with the venv for homeassistant active? Where is homeassistant looking for the commands it passes out from the web page? For example, I cannot seem to get the UI to do a “heal network” command even though it shows it on the web UI.
