Where to report to unifi controller

I dont know if this is the right place to ask.
But I do recieve this warning:
21-09-09 20:36:47 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot' is deprecated, 'backup' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of UniFi Controller

I don’t know where to report this?
Because i do not have an Unifi Controller Add-on. I do have unifi integration and a HACS integration.
The same for: AdGuard Home

thanks for your answer

I think this relates to the fact that Home Assistant has renamed “snapshots” to “backups” so the add-on developers just need to catch-up which they will do in due course.

I suspect it will sort itself out in the near future as developers update their add-ons.

It would be better if u make a report about the issue to the git repository of this integration: https://github.com/home-assistant/core/tree/dev/homeassistant/components/unifi

I already made a PR few days ago.

A PR is also opened for AdGuard
We all have these warns, it’s up to addons maintainers to patch it now

This is not about the integration but about the addon. → https://github.com/hassio-addons/addon-unifi

don’t use anything about “unify”. also get this error…
21-10-08 07:47:39 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config ‘snapshot’ is deprecated, ‘backup’ should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of UniFi Controller
Is there a way to remove it?
Same error for “adGuard”
I don’t have them installed… strange

The same over here.
Also not fixed yet looks like??

I do use Unify as integration, but not as addon

I don’t use UniFi Controller or AdGuard Home but still have this errors

21-10-11 11:48:12 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot' is deprecated, 'backup' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of UniFi Controller
21-10-11 11:48:12 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot_exclude' is deprecated, 'backup_exclude' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of AdGuard Home```

I have same problems - warnings for UniFi Controller add-on that I didn’t use and for AdGuard add-on that I used but removed a long ago.

I am also getting this. I do not use the Unifi Controller but do have AdGuard Home installed but there is no update available for this addon.

21-10-26 05:44:09 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot' is deprecated, 'backup' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of UniFi Controller
21-10-26 05:44:09 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot_exclude' is deprecated, 'backup_exclude' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of AdGuard Home

I have never had UniFi Controller nor AdGuard installed as add-ons nor integrations, yet I still get these warnings. What’s causing this?

WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot' is deprecated, 'backup' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of UniFi Controller
WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot_exclude' is deprecated, 'backup_exclude' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of AdGuard Home

For the last time (I have faith). This is only a warning, not an error, don’t be scared on it.
This happens if an addon has the old snapshot key in it’s config. Even you don’t install it, the supervisor checks the config.
This won’t break anything, even with the next release where the hassio.snapshot service will be removed ! The supervisor still have the ability to understand snapshot in addon configurations.

A PR is opened and will be merged as soon as a maintainer has time to check it !
