@AhmadK: Find does’t work properly in firefox on the automations overview
I have to highlight some text of the automation to do a search of them, and then it doesn’t find them all, really weird.
@sparkydave: For editing???

but what DOES it find? and are you limited by FF only?
I just looked, and I don’t see a field to specify an ID when creating an automation, one is generated automatically. Sorting on an invisible field (except read-only in dev tools->states) is not ideal for many reasons.
There is an open issue relating to this: https://github.com/home-assistant/frontend/issues/4725
It is only generated automatically if you use the GUI editor. It’s not needed for an automation to work, only needed for the editor to see it and be able to edit it.
This is why I use Thomas Loven’ Auto-Entities card and can sort however I want them there.
no, sorry, I use VSC to edit. I overlooked your wish for editing. I was thinking you just meant the display of them where you can turn them on or off
the TS wants to edit his automations in the Editor. I don’t think he can do that from Auto-Entities card, can he?
