Wiring temperature sensor resistor in without breadboard

I’m definitely not there yet. And I kind of hope I never do.

At that point it’s more like a job than a hobby. Not to mention I think that would be the final straw for my wife. I’ve got so much electronic/DIY stuff around the basement shop already.

The closest I’ve ever come to needing anything like that is for old PS3’s that overheated and got a “red light of death”. then you would need to do a reflow on the GPU(?) with a heat gun. surprisingly it worked a couple of times before it got non-repairable.

I don’t even need to do anything like that outside of soldering in my day (and night :slightly_frowning_face:) job as an industrial electrician either.

True, dupont are weak

This is the Dallas sensor but you can keep it all very small.
