I’d be so happy if this new “big brightness slider” also could apply as volume slider for mediaplayer entities…
Channel up/down, play stop, next, pause options for tiles would also be useful to create small mediaplayer cards.
Bumping this up as I was just about to start a new thread for this. Please expose media player volume level as a “feature” on tile cards!

It’s actively developed and new features sre constantly being added (select drop downs being the latest). For me it’s been a real game changer and I don’t really understand why it’s not attained a higher profile.
The developer Nerwyn is very active on the forum thread if you have any specific questions about how to use it.

No not the solution for me. I have the utmost respect for developers and HACS in general. But i’d really want these futures to be build-in home assistant as “original” core service. So i’m sure it’s stable, safe, maintained for a long time and doesn’t cause any issues. My whole dashboard is build without hacs and i’d like to keep it like that.
Fully agree, some feature are missing for media player.
Another function that is very nice on the custom: mini-media-player card is the ability to send a TTS with an input text field and a button to send to the media player. this could also become a media player tile feature…
