WTH cant areas be in a tree (grouping of areas) or allow something to be in multiple areas

This would allow easier automation targeting, for example if you had something such as below I could just have an automation that turns off the the lights in the area outside and all the outside lights would go off. Then sometime in the future if I add more lights outside as long as they are an area that is a subgroup of the outside area then the automation would pick them up without having to modify it.

Likewise if I was to add shed to the rear garden it would just be added to the automation without having to go back and potentially edit dozens of automations.

I’m sure there are many other uses too, just cant think of them right now.
