WTH can't I insert data for an earlier point in time?

I have an integration that gives me my water and heating usage, but they are delayed with up to 2 days, so if I just let things go their way, the dates will be skewed.

Why isn’t there a service or something where I can say " had at "?

I am aware that this will not be useful for automation, but half of my usage of HA these day is following up on energy usage to save money :slight_smile:

This is the same when looking at gaz consumption in France with “smart counters”.
