WTH can't you easily pin views to the sidebar

I think there should be an option to “pin” a view onto the left sidebar.

The “pin to sidebar” option could be put in the triple dot menu, or beside the menu with a new :pushpin:icon.

After pinning, the pin should switch to an unpin icon image

It would also help with issues such as the difficulty navigating settings by allowing you to pin commonly used ones / hard to reach ones to the left panel.

Just a UI design decision:

  • Views go in the top menu.
  • Dashboards go in the side menu.

Hi. I’m wondering if anyone got a chance to pin or add a custom item to the sidebar. I often visit the “Automations” and “ZHA” integration. It always takes so many clicks to get there. Would love to know if there is a way to pin to sidebar similar to the way you can pin an Add-On to a sidebar.
