Hi,
Sometimes I wonder whether some geniuses and clever minds here are a bit out of touch with reality.
Please don’t misunderstand:
HA is really great! Thanks for that!
BUT: SOMETHING IS ALWAYS…
The dashboards are a huge annoyance for me. There are so many great maps, etc., but all the ones I’ve seen so far are unsuitable as an OVERVIEW map: packed and confusing, mostly just a gimmick, entity names, ROUNDED CORNERS - what’s the point? WTH…
I sometimes ask myself whether we’re just playing with sensors here, or whether we’re really using HA in a MEANINGFUL way in reality.
But back to the dashboards:
I would rather call the HA dashboard a table of contents or registration. I think it’s good on its own. Current, structured, status and value display. Like a table of contents with chapters (areas). Of course, over time… ‘Clear’ is different, even then!
Well, if I keep my mouth full here, then I can also make a suggestion.
SO I would like an overview map, and I think it shouldn’t be too difficult to implement. Unfortunately for me at the moment.
Everything is just static, i.e. no entities etc. integrated, just html and css. Images are svg, I am happy to provide them.
3D floor plans or 2.5D floor plans take up too much space and don’t look good either, they are too overloaded.!
I hope someone will be motivated enough to create this kind of dashboard. Please be sure to contact me.
I see everything! One View! And there is many of place to use. It’s not overloaded imo.
EVERYTHING OK:
‘ALARM’:
Window: opened, tilted, closed
Roller shutter: open, closed
Doors: opened, closed
Light: on, off
Mail: in, none
Text: Room temperature, air humidity and pressure, light intensity, air quality, power consumption of individual devices, heating-temperature
NO ENTITY NAMES NEEDED HERE!
WHAT IMPORTANT information are you missing?
Suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
You could do so much with it:
For example, clicking on a heating or a room value opens the energy map or the temperature map, whatever…
You could control light, and so on.
Skin in! U R welcome.
So long
