I just shared a physical remote project I built (PARAM KEY) which uses an onboard IR blaster over ESP-NOW hooked into Home Assistant’s new IR entities.
A generic consumer integration in core would make IR blasters/proxies more plug-and-play instead of having to wire up custom automations or device-specific integrations for basic remotes.
