WTH do scenes have to use every attribute of a light

This applies to UI-configured scenes, I know it can be fixed in scenes.yml

Sometimes I just want a scene to control the brightness of a light but leave the colour temperature where it was.

Sometimes I want a scene to adjust the colour of the lights are but not which lights are on.

You can add either a device or just an entity to the scene. Doesn’t it work in your case?

Ok maybe entity was the wrong choice of words but I can’t add a lights brightness without including colour temperature.

Right, you can’t because it is the same entity. Looking for an answer for that as well. Looks like an automation case right now via service light.turn_on
