WTH do the core update notification links go to the blog instead directly to the update notes

Last WTH, we finally got the point releases broken out as bookmarks in the blog so that you could find them without a lot of scrolling. Yay!

This time round, I’m asking if it’s possible the update notification links can go directly to the section in the blog instead of just linking the top of the blog itself. It seems to me that it would make it so much more logical. Is this possible?

Regarding WTH do the minor release notes not link to the correct section of the update page this should depend on what version you’re upgrading from. If from 2022.9.5 to 2022.10.3 you should be taken to 2022.10.0 but if 2022.10.1 to 2022.10.2 then you should be taken to 2022.10.2.

And upgrading from 2022.10.1 to 2022.10.4 should take you to the notes of 2022.10.2.

Instead of having version dependent behavior, it might be simpler to show two links: one link to the major release announcement and another link to the specific details of the minor release changes.
