WTH does editing a scene turn on all of the lights - this doesn’t work for me when I’m working late at night after the kids are asleep

I usually get to work on my Home Assistant instance after the kids are asleep. Today, if I go in and edit a scene, that scene (most of mine are just Lutron lights) is immediately activated.

But this doesn’t work for me when some of the scenes I want to edit have my kids bedroom lights in them. I can’t be turning on their lights late at night! That’s a guaranteed path to the automation dog house. Instead, could there be a prompt to “preview” the changes or don’t. And if previewing isn’t selected, just trust I got the values right and don’t wake up my kids!
