Thanks for all the helpful discussion and the link to the PR! I just wanted to reiterate that I’m not just hoping that it works better or more consistently, though of course that’s desirable. My main hope is that the behavior will be controllable by the user because one size does not fit all here. Ideally, whatever that behavior is, it will end up clearly documented, too.
