WTH there isn't a System Cleanup

Hi,
I’ve been away from Home Assistant for a couple of months, and when I came back to check my config, I noticed that over time, I have left behind a lot of commented yaml code, included files and folders that are not used anymore, or some of them were for trials but they stayed there.

Also, I know that some custom integration were not removed automatically or failed to remove in the past, those must’ve left something behind.

So I think if there were a cleaning tool for HA it would be great.

P.S. I have been away from the community for a while and only did a quick search on this topic with no luck.

It’s not exactly a system cleanup, but you might be interested in the Watchman custom integration.

Yeah, I’ve used it and still, but as you said, it is not exactly a system cleanup as it still needs a lot of interventions especially when a lot of clutter pile up. thanks

is not a answerfor you… similar to Watchman there is also SPOOK https://spook.boo/

Ohhh, another topic/tool with more learning curve… OMG

I think that just a ”Factory Reset” feature would make more sense, see this feature request:
