WTH Why can't we easily see in the UI what's filling up my database

I now need to run some manual SQL commands to figure out that my Wifi RSSI sensors got haywire and filled up the DB a lot. I was able to reduce diskspace size from 2GB to 1.1GB by just removing some unnecessary recorded items.

Why can’t we easily see in the UI what’s filling up my database?

As a noob in sql - I agree that I need a simple tool to see what is inside DB.

Agreed, it would be great to have native tools to help manage the database better. In the mean time, the DbStats custom add-on is great. Screenshots.
