Xaiomi Aqara Gen 2 Button Not Showing Up

Hi,

I have a Xaiomi Gateway and about a dozen sensors (motion, temp/humid, door, etc) installed and working in home assistant, where their respective entity IDs & values are viewable in HA. I have two gen 2 Xaiomi Aqara wireless mini switches that are synced to my Mi Home app, but they are not showing up in HA.

The button presses are registered in the Mi Home app, the Mi Home app automations based on button presses work, but the sensors do not show up as entities in HA (I’ve checked for binary_switch, sensor_switch.aq2, remote.b1acn01). I’ve removed them from Mi Home and readded them, rebooted HA, but their entity IDs still do not show up in HA.

My Mi Home region is China Mainland (works will all of my other sensors), and my HA version is 0.79.3.

What am I missing?

Seems like this is due to the python Library that HA is using - PyXiaomiGateway

I found this in my startup logs:

2018-10-16 19:40:55 ERROR (SyncWorker_8) [xiaomi_gateway] Unsupported device found! Thus, I posted my data to this issue.

Well, looking at the commits, the dev seems to have add those device on the 7th october, see : https://github.com/Danielhiversen/PyXiaomiGateway/commits/master

How can we do to have those lastest changes in our HA ?

Same here, how do I update this file? Can’t even find it with the configurator. At the moment I only have a phone available to make it even more complicated

I have the same issue. The 1st generation is visible but the 2nd isn’t.
Any update/solution on the matter?

I am using: WXKG11LM mini switch

I just got this switch. Sometimes it works fine, and sometimes I get the error:

Unsupported click_type detected: iam

I do not think I am pressing the button differently. The hub talks at me in Chinese but I cannot understand it.

Looks like mine was defective, i got the exact same model and it worked without any hassle

Yeah the solution was buying another one unfortunately

I don’t think it’s a solution for me because, i’ve got 4 mini switch with the same issue :confused:
