Bugger, you could be right about stock - I think I may be in the same situation, I just checked to see if my items had shipped - starting to worry about the delivery occuring while the office is closed during Xmas. I’m not concerned if it takes a month to get here but I chose TNT express shipping and paid extra to avoid the delay. It’s been 10 days and my order status is still on Payment Confirmed… processing.
Mmhh bought from gearbest the hub, they are also delaying
Can someone let me know how to implement either of these? Have dev mode on the hub but not sure where the scripts should go or how to run them… should I be putting them in custom_components or running just as stand alone python scripts ect?
I got my delivery!! Everything is here!!
I’m sorry I’m PArtial n00b but where do I start with non intergAted components? I’m keen to learn just need something to follow
Is there anyone how knows how to fix this problem?
Frustrating
Got one of Jons scripts running to a point. At least have it publishing to the MQTT broker. I had to hack it up though and now I dont think the formatting is quite right but its a start. I originally only wanted to use the hub for sensors but being able to control the light and speaker attached to the hub would also be very cool.
Do you have the actual logs? Also is this Fooxys one? how did you load it up in the first place?
Try to change the script name to Aqara.py.
Sorry i don’t understand you.
I have done what stays on this webpage: https://github.com/fooxy/homeassistant-aqara
Is that not right?
Run hass --script check_config
to see what is wrong with your config
Hi,
How do you have HA configuration? by files each issue or all in 1 file (configuration.yaml)?
Maybe i can help you
Thanks for that link… Is that new because Im not sure how I missed that.
Ahh… The aqara.py file is not capitalised so it cannot find it… Rename it to Aqara.py instead.
Big Shout out to the devs on this one… Im not a coder by any sense but can read and de-code a bit. Happy to help anyway I can… I can see Fooxy has started on the switches already. I also have the Xiaomi IR blaster that works fine through the MiHome app would be great to get that going somehow too…
@ Thanks JasonCampey It is working! idd aqara.py is now Aqara.py and it is working.
No, it is not new, but i have problems with implementation, but now it is working Thanks for help everybody.
This component from https://github.com/fooxy/homeassistant-aqara is working, maybe it is posible to implementate it to the new version of Home Assistant, it would me great!
which PIR you use?
@fooxy what you need to get the switches going? I saw you commented them out in the script. I have a switch and happy to post any details that might be needed.
i just tested it - have the PIR set to turn on the hub light. As soon as i walked into it’s range, it turned on the hub, we are talking within a second. So i think it will work for follow me lights, as long as you are happy for a bit over a minute minimum on time. This will well and truely suit my needs, so i am stoked!
