Youtube Music - Media Browser

Thank you for your reply and for the wonderful add-on.

So, I won’t be able to use it because all the players in my house are Alexa. I’ll keep an eye on the add-on to see if it will ever support Alexa. Very sad, but that’s part of it.

@JKW
I know that playing on Alexa is not easy, however, it seems that this project has managed to do it: GitHub - rosskouk/asknavidrome: An Alexa skill to allow streaming of music from Subsonic API compatible media servers on Amazon Echo devices.

Unfortunately my knowledge is limited. Could you take a look?

Hi, that is great. Would be awesome to have an Alex Homeassistent skill like that.
Unfortunately I also don’t have Alexa skill skills

But once you can send a URL to Alex it should work with this integration

Hi, I’ve got a quick question. when I execute this action: ytube_music_player.search
nothing happens eventually. So I’m missing some other action to stream it to my Nest device, or not?

hi
is it work with sonos?
when i try to play a playlist from youtube, sonos go to “paused”

Is anyone having issues recently with this integration?
When I click play it starts up but skips through the tracks not playing anything and then turns off.
Tried reinstalling a couple of times. Might try uninstalling the mini media player.

Yes, something changed on YouTube

I’m still having issues unfortunately even with the new version. The integration seems to all be connected and playing normally but no sound is coming out. If I adjust the volume on the chromecast speaker the volume button on the integration adjust accordingly and it says it is playing but no sound.
Very odd

sadly it seems to be broken again, unknown error pulling in media. Tried re-authorising, redownloading, rebooting etc.
No such luck yet.
Has anyone else experienced the same? Maybe my firewall blocking the communication as I have been updating my network with all omada stuff.

Yes look at the git hub they are trying to repear it.
