Z wave js 0.7.1 not working

I have a nordtek USB z wave and zigbee controller and if I update the z wave js to 0.7.1 it will stop working. I’m not sure why. I restored a backups which seemed to have worked.

Update to z-wave js 0.7.1 seems to have broken NodeRed

I updated Z-Wave JS this morning (Sept 13, 2024 – ironically Friday the 13th) to v0.7.1 and now my NodeRed flows that make use of the zwave_js_value_notification event are not receiving the events. I do see that the logs of z-wave JS are receiving the events from the emitting devices. Unfortunately I did not make a backup of Z-Wave JS prior to applying this update; I was running v0.7.0 prior to the update and had not encountered issues with that version. Is there something that I need to update …

i had the same problem, same “fix”. “fix” because two of my devices completely stopped working after reverting to zwavejs 0.6.2 and had to be hard reset to get working again. that meant some reconfiguration of an automation (fortunately only one) and a dashboard (fortunately only one).
