Z-Wave JS and Z-Wave JS2MQTT issues

Dear All,

The new Z-wave JS and Z-waveJS2MQTT are great improvements for our Z-wave devices. Unfortunatley I have a weird issue popping up.

I want to use ZWaveJS2MQTT and deinstalled ZwaveJS as I undrestand these should not be used together. However, the ZwaveJS module keeps coming back and reinstalls itself (and restart itself - my giess is that it never deinstalled - even if it disappears from supervisor) - even if I have deinstalled it many times (with reboots). It typicalay pops back up after a reboot of Homeassistant.

It is annoying, because it will create issues with the ZwaveJS2MQTT module (stick not available).

Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Homeassistant running supervised on Ubuntu 20.04.2 TLS.

Go to configuration integrations > add Zwave_js again and uncheck the first box for use supervisor add-on… then enter the info for zwavejs2mqtt

How to block zwave js addon from getting auto installed and activated

I did not have to remove it… hamburger menu… configuration > integrations > add integration > zwave_js > uncheck first box that comes up about supervisor add-on… enter ws://a… whatever as mentioned above and in zwave2mqtt docs… and hit submit … that stopped it from auto starting for me I have switched back and forth between zwave_js add-on and zwavejs2mqtt add-on multiple times without redoing my entities after the initial time
