ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT on the same LAN Zigbee coordinator

Let me try to convice you to change your mind as you did for me
Trying this, you would gain some experience in zigbee (including zha that you never tested) and you would save a lot of time trying to convince me not do do what I planned to
Just kidding

Hey @Reunion974, what is the status of your network update?

I’m trying to do the same thing, but Z2M overwrites my ZHA network, so I restore the backup to get my network up and running again. No one convinced me that it is a bad idea yet except for FUD and “I don’t know why you would do that”.

In my case, I have ZHA running fine with many devices, but now I have a bunch of new devices for which ZHA doesn’t read the sensors. For example the Ikea Starkvind. In ZHA you can turn them on and off, but in Z2M you can read and monitor the air quality sensors. Since I need this data for Home Assistant automations, I guess adding these and fringe future problematic devices in Z2M in stead of ZHA.

Still can’t a solution to migrate from ZHA to ZigbeeMqtt :frowning:
I don’t want to impair devices…any assistance

Trying the same as in the link, but after uninstalling, and deleting all the entities in HA i couldnt get it up and running that when i add the device in Z2M it will also appear in ZHA. What am i doing wrong. What can i check to get it working link in the described link that they are both watching to the same network.

Ik have the UZG coordinator so and they are both connected, but it looks like the are looking to two diffent channels or pan id’s. Does someone knows what i am doing wrong ?

So this is my feedback.
I tried with UZG-06M, and also with UZG-01 (the one in the article).
I tried all possible configurations and finally I had to give up. It really didn’t work in a stable way.
I’m really convinced that the person who wrote the article did a very basic testing and immediately wrote the article without making sure of the stability. Very disapointing.
The author of the article never answered my messages.
Finally I migrated all my devices from ZHA to Z2M.

@Reunion974 It looks I’m on the same boat, having UZG-01 with ZHA network and wanting to control some devices with Z2M. So the only option is to migrate the whole network to Z2M? Can you please share any details if you managed to migrate it without repairing?
