Trying this, you would gain some experience in zigbee (including zha that you never tested) and you would save a lot of time trying to convince me not do do what I planned to

Hey @Reunion974, what is the status of your network update?
I’m trying to do the same thing, but Z2M overwrites my ZHA network, so I restore the backup to get my network up and running again. No one convinced me that it is a bad idea yet except for FUD and “I don’t know why you would do that”.
In my case, I have ZHA running fine with many devices, but now I have a bunch of new devices for which ZHA doesn’t read the sensors. For example the Ikea Starkvind. In ZHA you can turn them on and off, but in Z2M you can read and monitor the air quality sensors. Since I need this data for Home Assistant automations, I guess adding these and fringe future problematic devices in Z2M in stead of ZHA.
Still can’t a solution to migrate from ZHA to ZigbeeMqtt 
I don’t want to impair devices…any assistance
