Not really,
we sent RF Devices some weeks ago.
This is more slow than expected because there is only one french developper working on this project.
RF Pplayer is a complex product so this is a long work.
I hope we can give some news about this project before the end of year !

Wanted to give it a try, but even after copying custom_component/rfplayer to config directory, i don’t have GCE RFPlayer in my integrations Any idea ?

Copy the custom_component/rfplayer folder in your config directory.

Go to Home-Assistant UI, Configuration > Integrations, button (+ Add Integration) and search GCE RFPlayer

Select the USB device in the list and valid.

Hi,

has anyone tried out the RFPlayer integration and can give some feedback?
Does it work well or is it still in an early development stage?
I am considering to buy a RFPlayer but would be interested in some experience how well it works with HA.

Hi,

Well it is still in early stage and not really actively developed. So far SOMFY RTS works with one caveat… Not sure if it is me but I couldn’t add my SOMFY RTS using the integration, instead I have used the java application from GCE to register them. Once done you can plug the USB stick and use it in HA.

I have seen an email from @Doubledom with a beta version that should support OWL, EDISIO, & OREGON (thx Doubledom by the way)

Would be Nice if we could get @frenck to help

Can I control “dumb” 433 or 868 Mhz devices like sockets and sensors out of the box or does it need additional development if the RFPlayer integration?

For “simple” devices the integration of the “beta version” allows it.
For those who can, please log the information provided.

Merci de l ‘intégration !

Cela serrait merveilleux de pouvoir intégrer mes senseurs Visonic dans mon système.

J’ai tout installé et 70 entités ont été créés.

Surtout mes senseurs Visonic 868.

Malheureusement rient ne bouge c’est à dire que si ouvre ou ferme les contacts cela n’est pas reporté en HA.

Seulement des 0 ou des 1 sont affichés.

Quesque j’ai raté ?

Je ne comprends pas bien de quels log tu parles et «qualifier».

Ou se trouvent-ils ?

J’ai regardé dans le logs en configuration et j’ai trouvé un seul erreur en cherchant « GCE » : dropping invalid data:…

Est-ce que tu vois le log /config/home-assistant.log, si tu as configuré correctement le Yaml avec le debug du Rfplayer

Je suis en train de remodifier le prog surtout la partie dans Rflib pour avoir des ident correct et j’ai commencé la modif de visionic, je vois des remontées de type 0 1 2 8 11 12 13 14 15

Bonjour,
hélas non. Je n’avais pas configuré le log.
Excuse-moi.
J’ai tout désinstallé, et réinstallé la dernière BETA.
Activé le log.
Ça va beaucoup mieux ! Mes compliments.
Les Oregons maintenant marchent même si beaucoup ne s’affichent pas. Comme si la réception était faible. Mais j’ai, au même endroit une Vera avec un RFX 433 qui reçoit tout sans problèmes.

Maintenant les VISONIC affichent « 8 » ou « 10 ».

J’ai cherché « qualifier » et voici les logs :

Ok pour toi, pour les Oregons il faut que je vérifie le test sur “id_PHYMeaning” pour récupérer le type et sa value, est-ce que je vois sur tes Oregon vient du rfplayer ?
Regarde dans le log les infos du décodage s’il t’en manque …

C’est ce qui est ensuite envoyé dans ton ident existant ou pas (donc créé) avec event of type sensor: et ensuite passing event to sensor.oregon_49412temperature

Pour les Visonic ( je récupère ceux des voisins) il faut voir a quoi correspond les valeurs et faire une modif dans un Yaml ( pour l’instant)
