I have a Pi3 running a remote Zigbee and Zwave satellite. Yesterday, my SD Card died and I didn’t have any backups… Great…

I rebuilt the system and got zwavejs2mqtt running again, the Z-Wave devices were easy to get back.

zigbee2mqtt is not working though. I got it to run but I see no devices.

I’m not clear on how Zigbee works. On Zwave, the software was able to read previously paired devices on the Zwave stick, but with Zigbee, this isn’t possible?

Since I don’t have a backup of what was on the Pi before, do I need to reset the Zigbee dongle (sonofff 3.0) before I can pair devices again?

Ok thanks. Should I see my devices in zigbee2mqtt after a reinstall? I see none and trying to pair them again, I never see any show up.

Does it matter if the key is different? Since it was generated again at startup.

edit: well, it’s working. My bad for not doing the IKEA blinds re-pairing sequence properly.
