Hardware:
- Ubuntu Server 22.04.2 LTS
- Home Assistant 2023.8.1
- Supervisor 2023.07.1
- Running Nortek HubZ Zwave/Zigbee stick. Plugged into a 6 foot USB extender routed away from the computer
I upgraded the ZWaveJs UI addon from 1.15.3
to 1.15.4
today. For unrelated reasons after, I rebooted my system and when it came back online none of my Zwave Devices are found. When I look at my Devices and Services the Zwave JS addon has an error that says Failed to connect
The address i’m using is ws://a0d7b954-zwavejs2mqtt:3303
.
- I can still load the Zwave JS UI, but no nodes show.
- The log level is set to silly and I’m not seeing anything obvious wrong
- I tried turning the machine off and moving the stick to another USB port
- The Zigbee network is fine, so that leads me to believe it isn’t a hardware issue.
- If I stop ZwaveJS UI, I can start the ZwaveJS addon just fine. Again, this makes me believe the hardware is fine.
- I restored the previous version of the addon and rebooted - same issue.
- I restored the next-previous version - same issue
Without anything in the logs or a useful error, I’m lost on what to do What steps can I take to debug this? I’ve tried to include all relevant info, but please let me know if I’m missing anything that could help.
Thanks
Edit…hold on. Should the container be exposing a port? Specifically the one I’ve configured (3303)?
