I am technically interested and using Smart Home Tools where necessary and possible. Since I am getting a solar collection system, a heat pump, and a smart air ventilation and filtration system in my house in a few weeks, I looked for something more useful. I read about Home Assistant and installed on my Raspberry P3B. It is a great system and a helpful community so I will continue to add as much of my hardware as possible into Home Assistant.
