Working as a Lead Support Engineer has allowed me to take my skills to my Smart Home. I am a non-developer, having enough knowledge to troubleshoot and create custom solutions for my life. Running Home Assistant with a limited budget for devices and tech and focusing on how it can be used with available data from the cloud (API) integrations to take care of the nuances in life. In 2023 my objective is to skill up on Python and create a useful integration to share with the community, hopefully I won’t be too late to the party.
