As a long time SmartThings user I have been developing an entire house system but do not like the way Smartthings is going. Since I have no traditional light switches in my house I need something that does all its processing locally. In addition I need more capability for complex automations like air conditioning and humidity control than can really be managed by Smartthings. I am moving to Home Assistant and Node Red and intend to be a resource contributing code for new devices as I purchase them or build them myself.
