I am simply a guy who was a programmer for some 20 years on mainframes, mine computers and PCs. I have, however, been out of the I.T. line of business since 2003 ans a fair amount has changed. The most I do these days is a bit of MS Office VBA on spreadsheets to make my job easier. Trying to get my head back into thinking like a programmer and understand the new documentation techniques is a monumental task for me given the way my brain now functions. All I can ask for is some patience and given the “dummies guide” when being given help. Once I start to understand where things are coming from (which can take a while) I quickly pick up the ball and run.
