Hi, I'm Daniel, a software developer from Northern Italy. My passion for home automation started years ago with Home Assistant, which I still consider the gold standard for home control. However, I’ve always felt there’s a thin line between a 'smart' home and a truly 'intelligent' one.

After experimenting with AppDaemon and various automation strategies, I realized I was still looking for a deeper sense of autonomy—something that goes beyond simple predictions or scripted triggers. My project, EverShelf, is the result of that quest: an attempt to bridge the gap between digital inventory and real-world domestic intelligence.
