I am an electrical engineer working as a university assistant professor in Measurement Science.
I have many years of experience in PC- and MCU-based software/firmware development for automated test & measurement systems for scientific and industrial applications.
In the free time I have many hobbies: bricolage, cycling, open water swimming and scuba diving, and many others.
Currently I am evaluating Home Assistant to improve my home automation system; in the past few years I have evaluated many different solutions but HA appears to me the most interesting I’ve found until now.
I’m working in the development of small sensors/actuators nodes based on ESP8266/32 with ESPHome.
