I’m use to using OpenHab, I found it especially usefull because it provided a nikobus integration over pclogic module.
Now that I have seen that its also possible over custom integration, I’m evaluating the switch to HomeAssistant. At first sight, Home Assistant is much more user friendly and easy to setup.
I have following things in my house

• SMA solar inverter (already configured and working)
• Somfy Roller shutters (not yet configured)
• IAM energy monitor (already configured and working) (better then on openhab, as openhab module has bugs)
• Ring doorbell (not yet configured)
• NikoBus (setup ongoing)
