Retired architect with a Iot hobby. I started out with Arduino Uno-based controls running through MQTT broker on a Raspberry 3B with a remote Ngrok connection. I then moved to Arduino Cloud-based apps running off of MKR boards (kind of expensive). Now I am moving over to Home Assistant and expanding my smart home devices.
