Started with three Hue bulbs and a bridge. Then added a Tradfri motion sensor some remotes and there I was, lost! The Hue app couldn’t keep up with me, I wanted more.

Getting a raspberry pi and a zigbee dongle was the answer. With home assistant now up and running since 2019? I enjoy tinkering with automations, recently started with scripts and always busy upgrading the lovelace dashboard.

Copy pasting some yaml, reading through manuals and forums, trial and error, and lots of patience (and some frustration now and then) I recently decided to step up a bit and join the HA community forum instead of only reading it.

Eventually I hope I may be of use to newbies some day as many members here have been of use to me.
