Mechanical Technician at a CCGT Power Station, Bit of a geek and full time tinkerer

I got into home assistant when i boubt my first house a little over a year ago which needed a full re-wire, replumb and bringing up from 1960’s spec to modern day. I had a Pi-4 laying around from an old project and it started there with some encoragement from a friend.

I’m a total novice when it comes to home automation, but i have plenty of ideas of what could be useful! Big kudos to the Devs who built and maintain the platform, you guys have done an outstanding job
